spring has sprung. on this day it was a glorious sixty degrees. the sun was shining and it was just beautiful out. it also so happened to be olive's 10 month birthday. we decided to take advantage of the weather and have her lunch picnic style in the park.
we sat up camp under the shade of a tree right between the playground and the duck pond. plenty to keep miss olive's attention!
wait mom, this sweatshirt is bothering me.
i don't want it zipped. can you help?
so much better. thanks.
too cute for words.
she had carrots and banana on her "yum" plate.
olive got to feel the breeze, laugh at the people walking by and the sounds they were making, listen to the ducks and the fountain. it was a great lunchtime!
mom, why are you trying to take a picture while i have a mouthful of carrots?
after her lunch we packed the picnic in the car and walked around the park. olive got to feel the needles of a pine tree, see a dog walking by, talk to a boy about his rocks, swing in a bucket swing at the playground for the first time (wasn't so sure about it) and meet a little girl named jenna her same age. she really liked jenna. it was such a fun day. another one of those moments where you realize being a mom is the best job in the world!
