quick visit from gram and cappy

we were excited to get a speed visit from gram and cappy. they were traveling home from mississippi where they were visiting their family and swung by our neighborhood to drop some things off, break up the trip and say hello.

gram, you can use my cell phone to make your "we have landed" calls. i get much better reception. not to mention my plan has a ton of minutes.

reading books with cappy.

begging for donuts. she learns a lot from clover.

watching dad and cappy pack the car. getting in a few last snuggle minutes with gram.

it was so good to see them. olive loved spending an afternoon with them. and we of course loved having them in our home!

more july stuffs

olive is obsessed with the sofa. climbing it, rolling on it, leaning over it. so we have to keep a close watchful eye on her when we let her get up on the sofa. here she is bridging the gap to mom.

being so silly. this moment lasted for like one minute before she was up and off to the next thing.

beautiful girl.

new shoes she is getting used to.

mom, get out of the bathroom. there is a blue piece of paper out here you need to see!

here i will just slip it under the door.

mom, can you hear me?

here you go mom, i picked you a flower.

and mooshed it.

clover had a visit from gus when laura and andrew came by. oh she feels like a puppy again.

olive helping dad get a snack out.

first time with pigtails. she gets so hot normally and her hair on her neck makes it even worse. she gets heat rash on her neck from it. debating on growing it and putting it up when it's hot or keeping it in a bob. we shall see.

but how cute is she with pigtails?

playing with her cell phone and crib that theresa gave her.

olive pretty much uses anything with wheels to accomplish her goal of walking around by herself.

getting her cell phone out of dad's back pocket. he is so sneaky.

getting dad's camera.

wait, where is it? oh you are taking my pic with it. you are too fast dad.

guess i will just help mom fold... oh um unfold.... the laundry.

cutest pink zebra anyone has ever seen. and you got to love the precious little pose.

upset she is unable to climb the furniture. i mean where is the foothold on this thing?

she was in love with the gladiolas she helped us pick out for the kitchen. every time she would sit at the table and eat she would shriek with excitement.

seeing dad come around the corner.

little clover loo hoo.

playing on the bed with dad while the linens are being washed.

bouncing up and down.

and cracking up about it.

really who knows with those two.

precious kneeler.

dad loves horseplay.

he has been waiting for these moments for a long time.

she makes us just so happy.

um hold on. i am getting a call.
