our life extraordinary: starting out 2010

catching up on where we have been so far in 2010.

olive is now 8 months old.

and she is amazing.

looking forward to the new year!

gram and cappy came for a visit. olive wanted to hang out with gram the whole time. olive smiled every time she saw gram come into the room.

they brought christmas presents and we had a great time having a second christmas. olive loved her new books!

thanks for your help gram! this was olive's favorite wrapping paper. she played with it for 2 days, crunching it, throwing it in the air, etc.

one morning before gram and cappy came over... playing with one of olive's new favorite toys: a pen light. she has always adored light and when daddy turned this on for her she was blown away. it is also nice to chew on when you are teething.

such a big girl.

still loves her books. she is also very interested in animal sounds. when you say "meow" or "quack quack" she smiles from ear to ear.

olive loved having time to hang out and play with gram and cappy.

we had such fun with them on their visit. we just hung out and took it easy and had lots of time to laugh and tell stories. it was a great time!

we have been trying all kinds of new recipes including potato/butternut squash/apple, cherries in her cereal, blueberries in her bananas. she loves it all. olive is very gracious in trying new foods.
