5 months makes you a big girl

olive is 5 mo old now... and boy, is she special!

her favorite things include taking walks with mom and clover on nice days, books, toys, scratching stuff, being tickled and surprised, laughing at mommy and daddy, rolling over and working on trying to sit up all by herself.

this is what it is all about.

williams family visit

we got a wonderful visit in october from the williams side of the family. dad hadn't seen olive since she was just born in the hospital.

grandma, grandaddy and anne hadn't seen her ever. they were so excited!

when grandaddy got out of the car and saw us on the porch he said "i can't get there fast enough!" it was so cute.

it was love from the start.

they thought she was beautiful.

so did dad and anne.

olive loved looking at great grandaddy's jacket, watch and hands. one fascinating guy!

yum, olive loves chewing on her grandaddy.

we had such a great time together visiting.

olive in great grandaddy's navy hat cuddling with great grandma.

the time was too short...

but we made so many precious memories!

planes, trains and eyelashes

as you can see...

olive has daddy's eyelashes...

and...

daddy's heart.

we just love him.... don't we olive?

just growin up

festival of the horse 09

we didn't make it too long at festival of the horse this year. olive was pretty sleepy and it was slightly overwhelming for her.

so we stayed for just a little bit. got some hot dogs and headed home.

fun with olive

olive loves looking at books, turning pages and looking at every detail.

here she is with her favorite book right now.

daddy was cracking her up just with the sound of his voice.
he would talk to her behind the camera and this would happen...

it went on for the longest time....until olive got hiccups.

going to daddy's performance

daddy's performance and installation class is having a performance. i want to go support him.

it sure is cold out... better put on my new hat.

i am sooo sleepy, i hope i make it through.

mom gave me her purse to look after. i like when she does that. i hold on so tight and don't let go until we get home. that should keep me awake!

brrrr!

brrr... it's getting chilly. mom had to go get me some pants from the store.

fall must be here.

whoops... i fell over.

it's cool... i will just hang out here a bit.
